Leila E. Hart, an author of contemporary black romance. Growing up, I could always be found curling up with a book. I began writing at an early age and loved creating characters and telling their stories.

My time is spent with family, keeping traditions, and making memories. Daily, I'm challenged by accepting and creating my new normal and stretching myself beyond my comfort zone. Despite obstacles, I'm eager to find my way.

Having lived in Louisiana, I'm always tempted by a good bowl of gumbo, shrimp and grits, fresh crawfish bread, and warm bread pudding.
